This is an elegant red blend from an ancient and rediscovered terroir. Dark fruits and spice beautifully balance a rich and full-bodied wine.
Marie Orliac has restored 4.5 hectares of ancient Grenache and Syrah vines. Between the hills of Larzac and Selle, this high valley is humid and cool, and the grapes ripen very slowly. The wine is made in a renovated cellar, abandoned for three generations, using natural yeast, and aged in restored concrete tanks for the Grenache and oak barrels for the Syrah.
