Town Tine Hot Sauce is a small batch fermented hot sauce company made up of two friends, Ben and Eibhlín. We make all of our sauces from scratch and they are 100% natural, free from any additives or preservatives, low in sugar, gluten free AND suitable for vegans! Plus the fermentation process gives an added benefit of being wonderful for your gut. We currently operate from our hometown of Ballina, Co. Tipperary, with our lovely namesake mountain “Tountinna” watching over us.
Our hot sauce journey began after both moving back home, in the height of lockdown, when there was little else to do other than ferment some chillies and dream up some tasty hot sauce recipes! While we had both always been big hot sauce fans, the process of creating our own flavours was a truly special experience which we continue to love more and more each day.
With rave reviews from friends and family on our very first batches, we decided to give “Town Tine Hot Sauce” a real go, and the rest as they say, is history.
