Vermentino, Ansonica Tuscany
Terre del Buontalenti is a Tuscan collaboration which connects small grape growers under the expert guidance of famed winemaker and consultant Alberto Antonini.
The Vermentino Ansonica is fermented in concrete, maintaining the final wine's lively, distinct, fruit-driven and mineral characteristics. On the nose, it shows perfumes of white flowers, ripe stoned fruit such as white peaches and a touch of flint. The red IGT is a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot. The resulting expression shows perfumes of red berry fruit, redcurrant, strawberry, and a touch of vibrant, tangy dark blueberry fruit, lightly spiced. On the palate, it has a rounded tannin structure and great balance.
